Vince Burnett:
Vince has a wide experience dealing with Workers Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) having been trained by their staff in Claims Management. He then spent more than fifteen years working as a consultant, dealing with WSIB related issues. Vince has done hundreds of Workwell Reviews in that time for a variety of companies and industries to address workplace safety audit issues. These reviews form the basis of policy and procedure manuals which he has tailor-made for those companies which needed them.
Safety training has been a major focus for the last number of years which has been enhanced by his University of Guelph honours science degrees. His understanding of why certain procedures are important gives added weight to his training sessions. He has experience in WHMIS, fall arrest, fork lift, confined space and asbestos awareness training. His problem solving skills have saved companies many thousands of dollars over the years.
Allan Wilson:
After a successful career in the baking industry including management, Allan was forced to leave due to illness. He enrolled at Fleming College and studied both Employment Counseling and Health and Safety.
He has constantly sought out the best training and instructors in the Health and Safety field. He was involved in the Safe Communities Incentive Program and has completed instructor training with the Education Safety Association of Ontario and the Construction Safety Association of Ontario. Allan is a qualified instructor in WHMIS, Fall Arrest, Basic Certification, Hazard Assessment, Confined Space, Lock Out, PPE and several other training courses.
Allan has extensive experience working with both the Public and Separate School Boards, facilitating classes for health and safety. He also developed and provided safety training programs for Youth Groups and Youth at Risk. Allan has experience in Workplace Inspections and Audits, and has expanded into the field of developing Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Allan has spent many years teaching workplace safety practices to employers and employees and has a passionate commitment to keeping everyone safe in the workplace. Allan’s strong work ethic and attention to detail are his strongest traits.
